Two Macedonian citizens were arrested in Shtip following an incident involving the sale of marijuana to a local resident. The arrests occurred on Saturday evening in Shtip after authorities reportedly obtained a confession related to illicit drug trade. According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, police officers from the Shtip Detention Center took two citizens, identified as M.B.
and M.D.U., aged 24, into custody around 10:00 PM in Shtip. The two individuals were reportedly apprehended for selling marijuana to F.R., a 23-year-old resident of Shtip. Upon their detention, law enforcement found several items in possession of the involved parties.
F.R., the 23-year-old resident, was temporarily deprived of his freedom, and marijuana and a knife were recovered from him. Furthermore, the two Macedonian citizens, M.B. and M.D.U., were also found to be in possession of marijuana and a knife.
The operation highlights ongoing efforts by local police to address illegal drug trafficking within the region. The police action in Shtip resulted in the detention of the two men and the seizure of narcotics and weapons, following initial questioning and statements regarding the drug transaction.
