To commemorate the 35th anniversary of Macedonia’s independence, a major cultural celebration featuring a grand musical-theatrical production has been organized. This large-scale event is designed as a multi-media theatrical performance, chronicling the nation’s journey over the past three and a half decades. The production aims to highlight the most significant historical milestones, pivotal moments, national challenges, and achievements realized since the country achieved independence.

The celebration is scheduled to take place across multiple locations, ensuring a wide public turnout. Initial showings are planned for August 11 in Bitola, staged near the Ofičerski dom hill, and August 12 in Veles, taking place in the park adjacent to the Opština building. Furthermore, the festive carnival aspect of the celebration is set to tour eleven different cities across the country, commencing around September 8, thereby extending the celebratory atmosphere to numerous communities.

The overall event combines elements of music, humor, and dance within its grand theatrical framework. The initial presentation of the spectacular performance is slated for the “Biljanini Vori” stadium at 7:30 pm. This comprehensive cultural undertaking serves not only as an artistic display but also as a collective reflection on the nation’s history.
