Sixteen Drivers Detained for Reckless Driving Across North Macedonia
During the overnight period, the Ministry of Interior reported that police officers apprehended sixteen drivers across North Macedonia for reckless operation of motor vehicles. The detentions occurred throughout the country’s territory. Eleven drivers were taken into custody for operating wagons without valid driver’s licenses.
Four individuals were apprehended while under the influence of alcohol, and one driver was stopped for operating a vehicle while possessing an active driving ban in addition to alcohol impairment. Drivers were taken away from locations in Skopje, Kumanovo, Gostivar, Krusva, and Kochani who were found operating without proper licenses. Additionally, individuals in Vinica and Kochani were apprehended for operating mopeds without corresponding licenses.
