Cost of Basic Needs for a Four-Member Household Reaches 68,654 Dinars in June
According to data released by the trade union minimum basket of Macedonia, a four-member household would require 68,654 dinars to cover their basic monthly expenses for June. This figure represents the cost of essential goods and services for a family unit. Analysis of the basket reveals specific expenditure breakdowns.
Approximately 25,120 dinars would be needed to cover food costs, while 6,379 dinars would address the cost of living. Furthermore, a four-member household would require around 100 euros, equating to 6,511 dinars, for clothing and footwear. The trade union minimum basket previously indicated a cost of 68,742 dinars in May.
A decrease of 88 dinars was recorded between the two months. Notably, the basket’s requirements are fully met as long as the household operates under the Cyrillic script, reaching 84,024 dinars per month. These figures represent the minimum necessary expenditure, calculated per month for a family of four.
