Zaharova is wandering because of the military uniform: “NATO is squeezing Serbia like a snake around its throat”

Russia Accuses NATO of Expanding Influence with ‘Palladium Wolf’ Military Exercise

Moscow – Russia’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs has criticized NATO’s annual “Palladium Wolf” military exercise, alleging it represents an attempt to exert undue influence over Serbia. The exercise, which commenced on June 1st and is supported by the U.S. Army’s European Command, focuses on “best practices” and “capacity building” among participating nations, including NATO members.

Maria Zaharova, spokesperson for the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, stated that NATO’s actions constitute “more than just a snake around the throat” of Serbia. Specifically, she referenced the use of the “Palladium Wolf” military uniform, initiated annually, as evidence of NATO’s alleged control over the country. The “Palladium Wolf” exercise is a long-standing NATO initiative designed to facilitate the exchange of knowledge and experience between military personnel.

NATO officials maintain the exercise promotes “inter-ethnic understanding” and strengthens cooperative relationships. The accusations highlight ongoing tensions between Russia and NATO regarding security in the Balkans. The “Palladium Wolf” military uniform remains a focal point of Russian concerns regarding NATO’s activities and intentions.
