Police officers from the Drug and Arms Control Department in Tetovo and the Overwatch Criminal Investigations Department in Gostivar conducted an operation in the village of Zdunje. The operation followed intelligence gathered and a decriminalization order issued by the Gostivar District Court. During the search, law enforcement personnel discovered 116 grams of hashish in the basement of a residence belonging to an individual identified as S.B.
The seizure of the illegal substance was reported on July 5, 2026, at 13:15. Following the discovery, S.B. was taken into custody and will face criminal charges under Article 215 of the Criminal Code.
Separately, other news reports indicate incidents on the same day. One report stated that a 24-year-old man with existing health problems passed away in his home on July 5, 2026, at 13:39. Furthermore, a separate incident reported that a grenade was found inside a house in Skopje.
