Police authorities in Skopje have detained a 23-year-old resident following the discovery of a large amount of cocaine at his home and other connected premises in the village of Brest. During a search operation, officers from the Ministry of Internal Affairs, specifically the unit for illicit trade and the intervention police unit at the SRS in Skopje, confiscated a substantial quantity of the illegal substance. The operation led to the arrest of the individual, who has subsequently been deprived of his freedom at the Politska stajnica Gazi Baba.

According to the Ministry of Interior, the individual will be formally presented with charges corresponding to the full documentation compiled during the investigation. The seizure involved a large amount of cocaine, which authorities confirmed was discovered during the search conducted at the premises. The police stated that the operation was part of ongoing efforts to combat drug trafficking within the region.

Authorities confirmed that the confiscated material represents a significant find, emphasizing the scale of the illegal drugs recovered. The investigation is proceeding under Article 215 of the Criminal Code.
