VMRO-DPMNE Accuses Democratic Party of Alleging Partisan Influence in Trade Union Structures
The VMRO-DPMNE party has leveled accusations against the Democratic Party of Macedonia (DSM), alleging the party exerted undue influence within the Trade Unions of Macedonia (TSM) syndicate structures. The opposition party describes this as a parallel to the “four-day sports games” held in Čajna, Črna Gora, characterizing the event as an organized effort. According to VMRO-DPMNE, the organization of the Čajna event was spearheaded by members of the TSM Presidency and included Trespede Daneš, President of UPOZ.
The party claims a total expenditure of 60,000 euros was allocated to the event’s realization. The opposition party asserts that dissatisfied members express a preference for individuals closely aligned with the SDSM party. They argue that instead of offering equal opportunities to all members, the leadership of the TSM syndicate is creating privileges for elected officials.
“Does the leadership of TSM prioritize pay?” VMRO-DPMNE questioned, evaluating the situation. The accusations center around concerns regarding the potential partisan involvement of the TSM syndicates and the allocation of resources within the Macedonian trade union landscape.
