Third Phase of e-Factura Project Launches, Focusing on Web Application Testing
The Administration for Public Revenues (UJP) has initiated the third phase of the e-Factura project, concentrating on the testing of the system’s web application. This initiative aims to provide companies with practical experience in utilizing electronic invoicing. The project’s progression follows two prior phases designed to refine the system’s capabilities.
The initial phase involved integrating companies’ Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems with the e-Factura system. Subsequently, the second phase introduced Application Programming Interface (API) services, facilitating the processing, transmission, rejection, and formatting of electronic factura documents. This expanded functionality allowed for testing multiple indicators.
To accommodate these advancements, modifications were made to the API call structure and JSON format, detailed on the UJP website: https://efakturawiki.ujp.gov.mk. Companies are now encouraged to update their systems to align with the revised specifications. The current, third phase centers on testing the web application itself, allowing businesses – regardless of size – to directly engage with the e-Factura system and contribute to its ongoing development.
This represents a crucial step in the full implementation of electronic invoicing across North Macedonia.
