The Ministry of Interior seized 332 vehicles or 11 vehicles per day

During the period spanning July 1st through July 31st, law enforcement conducted routine inspections across various sectors of the Internal Affairs Department. These operations resulted in significant enforcement actions related to property crime and vehicle possession. Specifically concerning theft, authorities detained 332 vehicles under Article 300-b of the Criminal Code due to evidence of theft and illegal property possession.

Funds recovered from these seizures were subsequently deposited with the Ministry of Internal Affairs. Overall, the police operations in July led to the detention of 20,976 suspects. Furthermore, 496 individuals were deprived of their freedom after being found in unlawful possession of vehicles.

These measures were undertaken as part of ongoing efforts to maintain public order and combat property crime. The reports confirm that the detentions and seizures reflect the results of regular police control efforts conducted throughout the month of July.
