Man Arrested in Tetovo Following Robbery Attempt
Tetovo – Police apprehended a man, identified as A.I. (38) from Tetovo, following an attempted robbery on Tuesday. The incident occurred on Ilindenska Street at approximately 16:00, where officers intervened after he was observed committing the act.
Preliminary investigations revealed that Mr. (38) was under the influence of alcohol at the time of the arrest. A subsequent blood alcohol test confirmed a reading of 1.35 ppm.
Police responded to a call regarding an individual, also under the influence of alcohol, at his residence around 15:30. Following the arrest, a warrant was issued. Information regarding the arrest was disseminated through various channels, including Facebook, Twitter, WhatsApp, and email, by the State Regulatory Commission for Tobacco and Alcohol (SRST).
The SRST had previously inspected Mr. (38) at his location and determined he was under the influence of alcohol. The incident highlights ongoing efforts to address public safety concerns related to alcohol consumption and related offenses within the Tetovo municipality.
