Road Toll Fees Increase Significantly Over Two Years, Says Stojanovski

At a conference hosted by VUZM-DPMNE, Bojan Stojanovski presented data regarding changes to road toll fees within the state. Over the past two years, the standard road toll fee has risen by approximately 8,000 dinars, representing a 19.6 percent increase. According to Stojanovski’s figures, the road toll fee was initially set at around 8,000 dinars and has subsequently increased to 40,496 dinars in March 2024, rising to 48,433 dinars by March 2026.

He acknowledged a previous price increase of 7.8 percent over the period. However, Stojanovski clarified that following a price correction, the actual reduction in the road toll fee amounted to nearly 11 percent. He further noted that payment volumes had also increased by an estimated 10 percent, suggesting that the rise in fees was influenced by factors beyond simple price adjustments.

The discussion centers on the current cost of road tolls, measured in dinars, and the impact of these changes on public transportation users.
