Furthermore, “Mallorca Magazin,” another German-language source, reported a higher attendance figure, placing the number of participants closer to 2,500 people.
The core message uniting these varied demonstrations remains a call for a balance between economic activity and the quality of life within the community, challenging the current focus on mass tourism. Notably, observers reported that there was no visible police presence accompanying the protesters during the events.
