OUT OF TIME – NO MOTORCYCLES PARK BUILT IN WATERMANEN

The area in Vodno slated for development will undergo a transformation, shifting from its previous structure to accommodate a new motorcycle park designed for children and young people. Instead of attempting to restore the original arrangement of the fallen trees, the plan involves repurposing the healthy sections of the existing wood. These stems will be utilized to create natural props for the recreational area.

According to Orce Gjorgjievski, the new mayor of the city, the primary objective of this revitalization is to promote motorcycling skills and physical activity among the youngest residents. The resulting space is intended to serve as a multi-generational hub, offering recreation, opportunities for movement, and a space for social connection with nature for children, young adults, and the general public. Complementing this infrastructural update, broader environmental initiatives are also underway.

Efforts are continuing to plant new seedlings in areas where trees have recently fallen. Furthermore, the second half of September is scheduled to host a large autumn campaign dedicated to tree planting. These developments are part of ongoing, comprehensive efforts to improve Vodno.

In parallel with the modernization of the motorcycle park, general improvements across the city are continuing, including the general renewal of existing public green spaces. These combined projects aim to enhance the overall quality of life and recreational options available to the community.
