ODPORTED TO GEEVGELIJA ON THE BRZINA PRUGA – Mega projects are developed according to plans

The Minister for Transport and Infrastructure, Aleksandar Nikoloski, has confirmed that the preparations for the development of Corridor 10 are progressing significantly. As part of the ongoing process, the ministry announced that public presentations will be held to detail the proposed financing agreements and outline the specific conditions under which the project will be funded. Nikoloski further confirmed that the commencement of physical construction work is scheduled to reach completion by the end of the current year, aligning with previous statements made by the Minister.

The preparatory phase has reached a key milestone with the completion of both the environmental impact study and the social impact assessment for the corridor. To ensure transparency and community involvement, the ministry has scheduled public informational sessions throughout August. These presentations will take place in several key locations—Skopje, Veles, Demir Kapija, and Gevgelija—allowing local populations to become fully informed about the project’s scope and the expected qualitative improvements it will bring to the region.

These public forums are designed to facilitate direct engagement between project stakeholders and local residents regarding the logistical and economic implications of the infrastructure upgrade. The comprehensive preparation phase, encompassing technical studies and financial planning, aims to support a structured and timely rollout of the major transport link.
