Iliнден Celebration: President of Skopje, Prime Minister in Pećince, Ministers in Kruševo

State ceremonies are scheduled for August 2nd across Skopje, Peć, and Kruševo to mark significant national commemorations. The day’s observances honor the 123-year anniversary of the Ilinden uprising and the founding of the Kruševo Republic, alongside the 82nd anniversary of the First Assembly of the Republic of Macedonia. The official commemoration will take place at multiple sites, emphasizing the depth of the nation’s history.

In Peć, a ceremony will commence at 9:00 a.m. at the Memorial Center of the Assembly of the Republic of Macedonia. Prime Minister Hristo Misko is slated to attend this formal celebration.

The state delegation traveling to Kruševo will be led by Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Transport, Aleksandar Nikolić. Joining the delegation in Kruševo will be Ministers Sašo Kljevski, responsible for Health, and Jeeton Shasivari, responsible for Justice. The program in Kruševo is scheduled to begin at 9:30 a.m.
