General Zalogni: NATO should reform, RUSIA HAS ANOTHER TESTIMONY FOR FAST DEALING WITH NEUTRAL WEAPONS

Ukrainian Supreme Commander Valery Zaluzhny, alongside the Ukrainian ambassador to Great Britain, has called for a reassessment of NATO’s military methodologies. They suggested that Russia continues to adapt and find countermeasures against the advanced Western weapons systems currently employed by Ukraine. During a press briefing in Kyiv on Wednesday, the high-ranking general addressed the geopolitical situation.

While the discussion highlighted strategic military concerns, Zaluzhny also addressed previous comments regarding Ukraine’s membership in the alliance. Despite some earlier statements suggesting Ukraine might not join NATO, the general maintained his strong support for the alliance, recalling a prior pledge to bring the Ukrainian armed forces up to NATO standards by 2019. Zaluzhny emphasized that the international community, particularly the Russian world, should be fully aware of the current geopolitical climate concerning NATO.

The statements underscore a belief among Ukrainian military leadership that the current balance of power requires international reassessment of existing security frameworks. The discussion centered on the evolving nature of conflict, noting that technological advancements in weaponry necessitate continuous strategic review by all major military blocs, including NATO.
