Tihomir Pejić, a Croatian judge who also serves as the director of the Osijek aerodrome and currently owes a fine to the Football Federation, was found in an incident in his hometown of Osijek. Early in the morning, the police and immigration services located the 40-year-old man lying on the street. Neighbors who witnessed the event alerted authorities after observing an altercation involving Pejić.
Speaking to Croatian media, Pejić stated that he was uncertain about the circumstances surrounding the incident, noting, “I don’t know if he was attacked, or who attacked him, and I hope that the police will find the attackers.” The alleged assault took place near the Stadium Gradski vrh, the venue for an Osijek match. Pejić was subsequently transported to the Osijek Central Hospital, where medical personnel confirmed that he did not sustain any serious injuries. Witnesses present at the scene provided descriptions of the individuals involved, stating that the attacker was masked and that one of the assailants was operating an electric vehicle.
The police launched an investigation into the matter to determine who was responsible for the incident involving him. Authorities are currently investigating the details surrounding the attack and the identity of the individuals involved.
