Minister Highlights Two Years of Active Foreign and European Affairs Diplomacy

Tihomir Muscunski, Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Affairs, recently presented a report detailing the Ministry’s work over the preceding two years, emphasizing a strategy of active, open, and proactive diplomacy. The report focused on maintaining key partnerships and advancing the country’s foreign policy objectives. Muscunski highlighted the continued commitment to collaboration with NATO, adherence to European Union policies, and active participation within the alliance.

Over the period, more than 110 working visits were conducted internationally, alongside over 400 meetings with representatives from various foreign nations. Regarding European integration, the Minister underscored significant achievements, including the signing of the Partnership for Prosperity agreement and the corresponding agreement with the EU. Furthermore, a 142.1 million euro plan for growth within the Western Balkans received pre-financing of 65.7 million euros.

“The European integration,” Muscunski stated, “is the signing of the Partnership for Prosperity and the agreement with the EU and the 142.1 million euro plan for growth for the Western Balkans, of which 65.7 million euro was pre-financed.” The Ministry’s efforts reflect a sustained dedication to strengthening bilateral relationships and progressing towards European integration.
