AHV: 30 cash fines and 12 work bans for the Vornic inspections in Gostivar

A recent supervisory inspection conducted by the ACHV at a 70-level office in Gostivar revealed numerous compliance failures within the local food service sector. The inspection uncovered several instances of unfulfilled measures, indicating systemic lapses in hygiene and operational standards. According to the ACHV report, violations included unfulfilled requirements for disinfection, extermination, and rat control affecting five different operators.

Furthermore, the inspection noted that employees from 18 operators lacked current, proper food inspection certificates, and 11 legal entities were operating as food service providers without being properly registered with ACHV. The report also detailed issues concerning the required financial documentation and the necessary procedures for formal registration. During the physical controls, the authorities observed specific breaches related to the handling of food.

Notably, two operators were found to be transporting unsafe food materials contained within an 18-kilogram container. These findings highlight significant gaps in adherence to mandated public health protocols. The accumulation of these unfulfilled compliance measures underscores the need for rigorous enforcement across the industry.

The inspection process serves to ensure that all food establishments meet the necessary safety standards, making the regular inspection of food handling and operational procedures critical for public safety.
