A 13-year-old girl was reportedly attacked yesterday in central Belgrade. According to reports, the incident involved two younger girls who allegedly stabbed the girl with a knife before leaving her bleeding on the street and fleeing the scene. Police have initiated an investigation into the assault.
Separately, an investigation concerning an attack on the Savski Venac police station has been concluded in cooperation with the Oddet for Criminalistics Police. Investigators expressed surprise regarding the age of the individuals involved in the recent incidents. Furthermore, an attempt on the life of a 15-year-old girl is strongly suspected by authorities to be linked to forced abduction.
In connection with this case, the High Criminal Prosecution in Belgrade has summoned the girl to appear before the relevant judges, alongside her parents. The investigation into the assault highlights the involvement of minors, as one of the alleged attackers is only 13 years old. Given the circumstances surrounding the attack on the 15-year-old, the authorities strongly suspect the matter involves forced abduction.
The police are continuing their inquiries into the violence experienced by the young girl.
