His early career included serving as the first delegate to the First Assembly of the ASSN.
Brasharev held several foundational roles, including serving as the assembly’s first president and the ASSN’s first vice president. He was also recognized as the first representative to participate in the temporary government of Macedonia and was instrumental in establishing the region’s first news agency. Furthermore, he maintained a close association with Metodij Andonov – Čento.
Throughout the late 19th century, Brasharev was among the cohort of Macedonian activists who introduced leftist political ideas, a commitment that remained consistent throughout his life. Brasharev was a member of the first Central Committee.
