The Regulatory Commission for Energy, Water Services, and Municipal Waste Management (RKE) announced adjustments to the retail prices of petroleum derivatives. The commission’s decision resulted in an average reduction of 0.27% across various fuel types. According to the announcement, diesel fuel is set to decrease in price, while gasoline prices will see a corresponding increase.
Specifically, the initial report noted that diesel prices would decrease by half a dinar per liter, while gasoline prices would rise by the same amount. Effective immediately, the new maximum retail prices for key fuels were established. Eurodiesel BS (D-E V) will be priced at 80 dinars per liter.
Eurosuper BS – 95 is set to retail at 84.5 dinars per liter, and Eurosuper BS – 98 will cost 86.5 dinars per liter. Furthermore, the price for Extra light fuel oil (EL-1) remains unchanged at 79.5 dinars per liter. The RKE also implemented a separate reduction of 0.796 dinars per kilogram for another unspecified commodity.
These changes dictate what consumers will pay when they decide to buy fuel. The RKE’s decision aims to regulate the market rates for these essential energy sources. The announcement, made on June 29, 2026, confirms these updated pricing structures for the public to note when they plan to buy fuel.
