The Ministry of Internal Affairs reported significant law enforcement actions concerning illegal substances in the region of Macedonian Brod. Yesterday, authorities conducted an operation in the village of Slansko, located within Macedonian Brod, resulting in the detention of an individual and the deprivation of freedom for another. The police service in Macedonian Brod carried out the operation around 20:45 a.m.
The seizure involved illegal drugs, specifically marijuana, along with a mill and a digital scale, which were discovered inside a residence in Slansko. According to documentation provided by the police, the operation was conducted under the authority granted by the Main Court in Kičevo. The individual identified as G.M., aged 42, is scheduled to appear before the court regarding these drug findings.
These actions underscore ongoing efforts by the authorities to combat illicit drug trafficking in the area. Separately, the Ministry confirmed other drug seizures across the region. At the station in Skopje, for instance, law enforcement recovered substantial quantities of narcotics, including 11 kilograms of marijuana, 400 grams of cocaine, and LSD.
