The Macedonian text: The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration of the Macedonian Academy of Sciences and Arts (NOAA) officially confirmed the formation of El Niņo in the warming of the Pacific Ocean, warning that the natural climate phenomenon could reach a record high and exceed the record El Niño of 1997, which caused billions of dollars of damage from heatwaves, floods, landslides, tornadoes and fires across the world. In NOAA’s statement, it was said that 63 percent of the probability of El Niņo becoming extremely intense at the end of autumn and the beginning of winter is “ranging between the largest recorded El Niņo since 1950,” AP reported. The Secretary General of the UN, Antonio Guterres, described El Niņo as “an imminent climate warning.”
