Macedonian text: Photo: Tasnim News Agency, CC BY 4.0, Wikipedia Commons President Donald Trump said that the agreement on the ceasefire between the SAA and Iran is to be approved in the near future, as Iran expressed its willingness to agree on it as soon as possible. In a statement on social networks, Trump said that the Armored Corridor, the Clubland Pass, and the Persian Gulf will be opened as soon as an agreement is reached. In the following, Pakistan, a club mediator, stated that it is certain that the agreement will be finalized within 24 hours and that preparations are being made for the electronic signing.
In response to Trump’s comments, the Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs spokesman, Esmail Bagaei, expressed reservations about the timeframe, saying: “We must not wait and see for the exact date of the signing of the memorandum. We must prepare for the electronic signing as soon as possible.”
