Antonio Miloshoiski, the deputy of VMRO-DPMNE and Speaker of the Assembly, announced that the government intends to submit amendments to the Electoral Law within the Assembly procedures. According to Miloshoiski, these proposed amendments will proceed without addressing Article 76, which has received specific notes from the Left bloc. He did not, however, comment on potential notes from other political parties or address concerns regarding the alleged incompetence of SDSM and its potential link to electoral manipulation.
Miloshoiski stated that the Assembly will serve as the venue for submitting amendments pertaining to the means of electoral advertising. He claimed that the Left bloc was brought into the negotiation process via the working group. Furthermore, he indicated that the Left will retain the capacity to submit an amendment reflecting the compromise previously proposed by the working group.
Miloshoiski added that this proposed amendment would receive support from the representatives of the ruling coalition. These statements were made during ongoing negotiations concerning the legislative adjustments to the electoral framework.
