Thomovski: The double-sided signs reduce the abuse of official vehicles by 70%

Ivić Tomoski, Director of the Office for Public and Joint Affairs (OPZR) and organizational secretary of VMRO-DPMNE, reported on the positive outcomes resulting from the implementation of two-sided registration plates for official vehicles. During a broadcast on the MTR’s “Theme of the Day,” Tomoski assessed that this measure has significantly curtailed misuse of state assets. He stated that the introduction of the sided plates has resulted in an approximate 70 percent reduction in reported abuses concerning official vehicles.

Beyond this assessment, Tomoski also announced several forthcoming administrative initiatives aimed at improving public governance. These plans include launching a pilot project dedicated to the integration and provision of electric vehicles within the state infrastructure. Furthermore, he detailed plans for the comprehensive regulation and management of state property currently housed at the Office.

Tomoski acknowledged that while the measures have substantially improved compliance, he noted that minor instances of misuse may still occur, particularly within lower judicial circles. He expressed optimism regarding continued public adherence to regulations. The implementation of these enhanced tracking and management systems underscores a commitment to increasing transparency and accountability across the use of public resources and state-owned assets.
