The chief prosecutor of the main prosecution in Skopje has initiated a preliminary investigation into an individual suspected of committing a crime involving threats and property damage. The suspect, a 30-year-old man, is alleged to have threatened two married individuals and a woman in a company setting, reportedly concerning outstanding unpaid bills. The incident escalated on July 21 when the couple and the woman left the company vehicle in the village of Truparevo.
According to reports, the prosecutor intercepted them near the car, brandishing a knife. The suspect allegedly made aggressive demands, insisting they surrender the vehicle, and issued threats. Furthermore, the couple stated that they were subjected to insults and threats, which included the deliberate cutting of the car’s left rear wheel.
Following the confrontation, the couple contacted the police authorities. The chief prosecutor’s office has confirmed that a formal investigation into the matter is underway. The preliminary investigation aims to establish the facts surrounding the alleged threats, the use of the knife, and the damage inflicted upon the property.
The investigation will examine the sequence of events, the nature of the threats, and the circumstances surrounding the disputed unpaid accounts.
