Macedonia and Austria Sign Agreements for 14 Collaborative Research Projects
The Ministry of Education and Science has signed agreements for 14 joint research projects between Macedonia and Austria. The projects will be funded by the Macedonian Ministry and focus on key areas identified within the country’s Strategic Innovation Agenda. Minister of Education and Science, Vesna Jovanska, announced the initiative at a press conference following the signing ceremony.
The collaborative projects will be implemented across several sectors with significant development potential. Specifically, research will be conducted in memorial heritage and food with high added value, information and communication technologies, electrical engineering industry, industry 4.0, and sensitive manufacturing. Minister Jovanska stated that these initiatives align with national strategic priorities.
The projects are anticipated to foster innovation and contribute to the advancement of research capabilities within Macedonia. The Ministry will oversee the implementation and review of the projects, ensuring alignment with the Strategic Innovation Agenda. The agreements represent a key step in strengthening research collaboration between the two nations.
