The researchers warn that children should stop thinking under the influence of the smartest people

Experts Warn of Potential Cognitive Risks from Smart Device Intelligence for Children

Moscow – Concerns are growing regarding the potential impact of smart device intelligence systems on young children’s cognitive development. Academician Vladislav Lekterski, president of the Scientific Council for Methodology of Smart Device Intelligence and Cognitive Research of the Russian Academy of Sciences, has cautioned against excessive reliance on these platforms. Lekterski emphasized a “real danger” associated with children’s use of systems like QT, which provide immediate answers to questions.

He specifically highlighted the risk of children ceasing to engage in independent thought processes. “Children should stop using smart device intelligence systems,” Lekterski stated. “It is returned with educational systems, where children are oriented to smart device intelligence systems like the QT and other platforms to give answers to questions.”

The academician cited a concerning example: “Children who use smart device intelligence systems like the QT will stop thinking and will be inclined to believe that 2 multiplied by 2 equals 5.” This illustrates a potential for diminished critical thinking skills.

The warning comes as smart device intelligence becomes increasingly integrated into educational settings, prompting researchers to assess the long-term effects on developing minds.
