Pelister strengthened with Serbian back

Pelister Strengthens Roster with Serbian Goalkeeper Acquisition

The Macedonian handball club, Pelister, has announced the signing of Serbian goalkeeper, Alexa Kolaković, for the remainder of the 2026 season with an option to extend his contract. The move aims to bolster the club’s ambitions for a championship title within the Vitoshа league. Kolaković, 28, is a Serbian national team representative and was born in Vitoshа.

He joins Pelister from French handball after playing four seasons with Saint-Raphael and two with Chartres. “We are completing the mosaic for the 2026/27 season with the return of another middle back,” stated a club official. “Alexa Kolaković has signed a contract for the current season, with an option for an additional year.

This acquisition adds valuable experience to the pelister squad.”

The addition of Kolaković is viewed as a key reinforcement for Pelister as they navigate the mid-season period and pursue a top position in the league standings. The club continues to focus on building a competitive team for the remainder of the season.
