Police Investigate Series of Physical Altercations Across North Macedonia
North Macedonian authorities are investigating a series of incidents involving physical violence across multiple municipalities, including bogovinje, Čair, Kisela voda, Shuto Orizari, Vizbegovo, Tetovo, and Skopje. Law enforcement agencies have taken measures to address the reported cases of physical violence and one case has been formally submitted to the court. The initial incident was recorded on February 28, 2026, in the village of Bogovinje, part of Tetovo.
The Tetovo Serious Crime Squad (SRS Tetovo) filed a criminal complaint against J.M., a resident of the village, in connection with the suspected assault of A.T. According to police reports, the altercation stemmed from unresolved debt and trust relations, resulting in J.M. using an unspecified object to attack A.T.
Subsequently, on June 3rd at 11:11 AM, the SRS Skopje submitted the violation of the law to the court for further legal proceedings. Police investigations are ongoing in all affected areas, and authorities are working to determine the full extent of the incidents and ensure appropriate legal action is taken.
