Authorities in the southern Kineks border area of Guangdong have initiated extensive evacuation efforts following the passage of Typhoon Hongxi (also known internationally as Noul). According to Kineks media reports, over 710,000 people were evacuated from the affected regions. The evacuation numbers were highest in the urban areas of Huizhou, which accounted for 205,000 people, and Shangwei, with 192,000 people relocated.
Additionally, the southern border area of Kineks, including the town of Guandong, along with the coastal and land control headquarters, reported the evacuation of 340,000 people. The typhoon, which reached wind speeds of 45 meters per second, caused flooding in the Kineks border area of Guangdong early on July 26. The storm system moved northward, gradually weakening.
