The senior level of the national athletics championship in Macedonia concluded at the National Arena “Todor Proeski” in Skopje, following two days of highly competitive and unpredictable finals. The event marked a significant gathering of athletic talent within the Macedonian sporting community. In terms of club performance, AC 7th May emerged as the most successful club of the competition.
The club secured a total of 22 medals, comprising 10 gold, 8 silver, and 4 bronze. This performance placed them ahead of AC Olimp, which accumulated 17 medals (7 gold, 8 silver, and 2 bronze). AC Kumanovo also achieved a strong showing, earning 17 medals with a count of 4 gold, 7 silver, and 6 bronze.
On the individual front, Jovan Stoyoski of AC Ohrid delivered standout performances. Stoyoski secured victories in two key events, setting times of 21.51 seconds in the 200 meters and 45.72 seconds in the 400 meters. The competition provided a clear display of high-level athleticism across multiple disciplines, confirming the depth of talent within the country’s track and field program.
The results from the championship provide a benchmark for future athletic development within Macedonia.
