The Kasandra public service warned in Macedonian that there is no reserve of places with their own children

The Kastoria Municipality issued a public notice on June 28, 2026, addressing regulations and cleanup efforts concerning the first hill of Halkidiki. The municipality stated that there are no reservations available for facilities located on this popular area. Visitors and residents can communicate in English, Greek, and Macedonian.

In an effort to ensure unrestricted public access, the municipality is calling upon all citizens and visitors to remove any objects that have been placed illegally on the beaches. These items include, but are not limited to, chadors and various mats. The municipality has indicated that any such items left behind will be collected and treated as general waste.

The announcement specified that the removal of these objects is intended to reestablish free public access to the area. Furthermore, the municipality warned that this action will proceed without additional public notice. Any property removed will be officially considered abandoned on the public space.

The authorities encourage the community to help maintain the area by removing personal belongings. While the municipality plans to share this information widely, they urge everyone to take responsibility for their waste. Residents and tourists are reminded that respecting public space is crucial for all who visit.

If you are planning to share your experience or information about the area, please be mindful of leaving the beach clean for others.
