Fire in Dolani Village Brought Under Control
Shtip, North Macedonia – The fire in Dolani village, part of the Shtip municipality, was successfully extinguished by the fire department as of 9:34 a.m. on June 15, 2026. According to a report issued by the Shtip Fire Department, the situation is now under control.
At approximately 3:05 a.m. yesterday, the Territorial Fire Department (TFP) in Shtip received an alarm regarding a significant fire impacting a large area of grass and low-growing shrubs within Dolani. A rapid response was initiated, deploying four fire trucks and 15 firefighters from the TFP in Shtip.
Support was provided by two trucks from the DPD in Shtip and six volunteers, including personnel from the Javno podvig (JP) in Shtip. The combined efforts of the fire department and volunteers successfully contained the blaze. Authorities confirmed that the fire has been fully extinguished and the area is now secure.
