Tetovo Man Formally Accused of Threatening His Mother with a Knife
The Tetovo Serious Crime Squad (SVR Tetovo) has filed a criminal complaint against a 36-year-old man, Sh.A., from a Tetovo village, on suspicion of endangering security. The charges stem from an incident reported last week involving threats directed at his mother. According to police information, the individual, identified as Sh.A., presented the suspect object – a knife – to his mother within the family home.
The SVR Tetovo initiated an investigation, formally outlining the evidence and establishing grounds for suspicion. This case follows other recent developments within the region. Separately, the Serious Crime Squad in Skopje has filed a criminal complaint against a Turkish national for alleged drug trafficking.
Additionally, the Ministry of Interior reported over 16,000 traffic violations in a single month, with the majority related to speeding and resulting in the seizure of 238 vehicles. Finally, a motorcyclist sustained serious injuries in a collision with a vehicle on the Goce Delchev highway. These incidents are currently under investigation.
