STRUMIČKITELE ZEMJODELCI NA MEDIUM SALARY WITH MINISTRY – A solution for a stable price of the pepper

Minister of Agriculture, Rural Development, and Water Management, Borce Serafimovski, has commissioned a specialized committee tasked with examining the dynamics of agricultural commodity procurement. The primary objective of this committee is to establish stable and equitable conditions for landowners involved in the sale of their crops. The committee will initiate discussions covering several critical areas, including the overall dynamics of the purchase process, the determination of appropriate prices, potential pricing structures, available transportation logistics, and mechanisms for ensuring timely payment to producers.

Minister Serafimovski emphasized that while market conditions ultimately determine the final prices, the methodology of the purchase must adhere to strict standards of legality, transparency, and consideration for the producers. He stressed the importance of establishing clear purchase conditions that precede buyer engagement. Furthermore, the Minister directed that price transparency must be maintained throughout the process.

A key focus will be placed on ensuring that the classification of the produce, specifically pepper, is executed with precision according to pre-agreed criteria. In essence, the Ministry’s contracting department has established this body to create a regulated framework. This framework aims to stabilize the market by formalizing the purchase process, ensuring that all stakeholders have a clear understanding of the pricing mechanisms and operational standards.
