Analysis Reveals Varied Profit Returns for Top Macedonian Companies
A recent analysis conducted by Portale Pariz in collaboration with the Business Network examines the profitability of 100 of Macedonia’s largest revenue-generating companies. The study focuses on companies listed among the top 100 by revenue, revealing a significant range in earnings, from 3 million euros to 73.15 million euros. The research highlights the diverse financial outcomes for these businesses, with payments to trade associations varying considerably.
Payments ranged from 3,000 Macedonian denars at the Trade Association of Macedonia and Montenegro to 254,796 denars paid to the Association for the Promotion of Casino Games in Austria and Macedonia. Notably, several companies exhibited unusual financial patterns. Both the highest and lowest earning entities within the surveyed companies employed only one individual.
Six of the 100 largest companies in Macedonia received payments of 100,000 denars, a figure not typically observed. The analysis underscores the complex financial landscape within Macedonia, demonstrating the wide disparity in returns for companies operating within the top revenue bracket. Further investigation is warranted to understand the factors contributing to these varied financial outcomes for Macedonian companies.
