Aleksandar Lazarov, who was taken into custody following an investigation, was reportedly located and apprehended in Skopje. Sources from the Ministry of Internal Affairs indicated that Lazarov was brought into custody after being found at the police station in Kochani the previous evening. The arrest in Skopje followed the completion of an investigation concerning him.
Furthermore, international protection was issued for him while he was found on the state’s territory. Lazarov was detained on suspicion of involvement in the criminal case related to the “unlawful production and smuggling of narcotics, psychotropic substances and precursors.” However, it was reported that he managed to escape from the police station in Kochani before the designated window. According to reports from “Skopje 1,” this is not the first time Lazarov has been detained regarding these accusations.
