According to reports from the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MVR), vandalism occurred yesterday evening at the educational facilities located in the Gjorche Petrov neighborhood. The incident, reported around 1:35 PM, detailed damage that took place between 4:00 AM and 5:00 AM on July 3rd. Authorities reported that physical force was used to damage the main entry doors of the local primary school’s sports hall.
In addition to the structural damage, two fire extinguishers were removed from the sports hall premises. These items were subsequently moved to the courtyard area of the neighboring high school. The vandalism continued at the high school, where several acts of destruction were observed.
Specifically, textbooks were set lit in the courtyard area. Furthermore, the perpetrators also removed other materials from the high school grounds. The incident highlights a coordinated act of vandalism targeting both educational institutions in the area.
The police investigation confirmed that the damage included both the physical breaching of the sports hall’s access points and the subsequent arson and theft occurring at the high school facility. Authorities are continuing to investigate the identity of the individuals responsible for the damage and theft.
