With the help of bulldozers, earth was also removed in the vicinity of the village of Dolani to prevent the fire from spreading into the houses.
The fire was extinguished on an inaccessible terrain with firefighting brooms. Зоран Mladenovski from the Štip Voluntary Fire Brigade explained that in moments, the firefighters were asked to prevent the old beech forest from being burned, and the tractor started to pour water on the fire.
