Agency for Civil Aviation Announces Payroll Reduction Plan

The Agency for Civil Aviation (ACA) has informed elected representatives about a significant restructuring plan aimed at reducing operational costs. The announcement follows a payroll exceeding 2,700 euros for the institution during the previous year. According to a notice delivered to representatives, the ACA projects a workforce of 85 individuals in the upcoming “mine” year 2025.

This reduction in staff is intended to result in a savings of 173,801,847 dinars related to pay and associated worker expenses. The current payroll expenditure totals 2.82 million euros, marking the second highest reduction in pay the institution has undertaken. The ACA reported a 16.42% increase in pay costs during the “mine” year 2024 compared to the prior year.

This strategic move focuses on optimizing the civil service and ensuring efficient use of resources. The agency anticipates a long-term benefit through reduced expenditure on work-related costs. The plan emphasizes a commitment to streamlining operations and managing the institution’s financial obligations effectively.

Further details regarding the restructuring process are expected to be released in the coming weeks.
