In a recent address, Minister of Education and Science Vesna Janićka outlined progress within the education and science system over the past two years, acknowledging existing challenges and detailing implemented reforms aimed at enhancing quality. The Ministry has focused on improvements across both sectors. Key initiatives include the establishment of regional centers for training, encompassing approximately 1,000 companies, designed to foster practical application of knowledge.

A tripartite council for career guidance has also been formed, specifically targeting basic and secondary education to better support student pathways. Furthermore, third-year students are scheduled to receive textbooks at the conclusion of the academic year. Minister Janićka highlighted increased support for students through the engagement of 1,350 educational assistants within basic education and 150 in secondary education.
