Mitsoski: The state should take the blame and do the job itself.

Macedonian text: Photo: AD ESM Prime Minister Hristo Miskoiski said that the government is considering investing in the project for the construction of the hydroelectric plant in Chebren, which is the reason why it is a project that would cost around 1.5 billion euros. “One of the initiatives we have is to build a complex of central rivers in the region of Tkvec, which is not only a project for Macedonia as a country, but also for the region. So far, there have been many unsuccessful tenders, private partnerships have been criticized, and processes have been related to many controversies,” said Miskoiski.

He is optimistic that as long as negotiations are successful in forming a syndicate of international financial institutions, it is realistic to expect that the next year a stone-cold monument to this long-standing project could be erected. “There are many reasons for this,” he said.
