Children’s Playground Vandalized in Aeropuerto Municipality
The municipality of Aeropuerto is investigating significant damage to the “Patriq” children’s playground, a popular recreational space within the municipality. Mayor Dejan Miteski and his team were alerted to the vandalism following reports of extensive damage caused by a group of young people. The playground, widely considered one of Aeropuerto’s finest facilities for children, was created to foster play, friendship, and a carefree childhood.
However, yesterday the area was subjected to an unlawful and damaging takeover. Initial assessments indicate substantial damage requiring repair and replacement. Following the incident, the playground was temporarily closed to ensure public safety and facilitate a thorough investigation into the extent of the damage.
Municipal officials are working to determine the precise cost of repairs. “We are deeply concerned by this act and are committed to restoring the ‘Patriq’ playground to its former condition,” stated Mayor Miteski. The municipality is currently coordinating efforts for the investigation and the subsequent replacement of damaged equipment.
Further updates will be provided as the situation develops.
