MACEDONIAN AERODROMS SURRENDER RECORDS – Over 400 ILYADI PATRICS IN A MONTH

Ten major macedonian airports located in Ohrid and Skopje have recently recorded notable levels of activity, setting new historical records within the nation’s air traffic sector. This strong performance has garnered international recognition, with ACI Europe placing the macedonian airports among the top facilities in Europe. Specifically, Ohrid Airport, which operates under TAV Macedonia—a member of the ADP Group—reported achieving a historical peak in operations.

According to TAV Airports, the airport set new benchmarks for both passenger volume and the total number of realized flights. During the month of July, Ohrid Airport handled 52,544 passengers, representing a significant increase compared to the 41,210 recorded in the previous year. Furthermore, the facility executed 443 flights in July, marking an increase over the count recorded in July of the preceding year.

The operational success across the network was supported by the hosting of two major events during the same month. The collective performance of the ten key airports underscores a robust recovery and growth trend in the region. These figures confirm that the infrastructure is performing at high levels, cementing the country’s position within European aviation standards.

The achievement of these operational records highlights the sustained appeal and efficiency of the macedonian air transport system.
