The Struga Police have filed a criminal complaint against a 53-year-old resident of the Mislodjedza village. According to reports from Ohrid SRS, the individual allegedly engaged in unauthorized activities on April 20th.
The complaint specifies that the person hired workers to destroy an estimated 32 cubic meters of firewood in the Mislodjedza village. This activity reportedly took place in the settlement of Lenishte, an area considered non-moving property within the village boundaries. The police complaint further details that the destruction occurred without obtaining prior approval for seizing resources and in violation of the provisions set forth in the Forestry Code.
Furthermore, the individual allegedly conducted this operation without possessing a valid work contract. The Struga Police officially presented the complaint, citing grounds for suspicion under the charges of “trespass on the forest” and “not taking measures to protect the property from destruction.” These actions constitute alleged violations of forestry regulations and property rights within the Struga municipality.
