Minister Janevska Highlights Progress in Education Sector Over Past Two Years

Skopje – Minister of Education and Science Vesna Janevska presented a report detailing the advancements made within the Macedonian education system over the last two years. The report focused on improvements implemented to benefit students, teachers, mentors, and the broader scientific community. Janevska emphasized key achievements including a sustained, systematic approach to supporting talented students.

This support encompassed financial assistance through tuition and accommodation subsidies specifically for participation in international Olympiads. Furthermore, the Ministry oversaw a significant increase in scholarship availability, alongside the expansion of full-time and dual education programs. “The work undertaken over the past two years is nearing completion,” stated Minister Janevska, as discussions regarding the formation of a new government, including the potential reconstruction of the Hristijan Miskovic government, are set to begin.

The Ministry also prioritized the timely distribution of grants to educational institutions. Janevska’s report underscored a commitment to bolstering the overall quality and accessibility of education within the country.
